About P.I.C:
The upshot of a NYU film school mockumentary, P.I.C is a charismatic, genuinely funny and soulful collective that plays a robust and intelligent blend of hip hop, hardcore punk, Latin, funk and ska. They have entertained, offended and charmed audiences in New York and around the world with two successful albums, "hiphopunkfunkmamboska" (2000) and "Sexy Picnic" (2003), both CMJ chart-toppers in the U.S. and Canada. In 2002, P.I.C was house band for Comedy Central's stand-up comic showcase "Premium Blend", sharing the stage with Wanda Sykes and performing all original tunes, including HIPHOPUNKFUNKMAMBOSKA, theme song for "Premium Blend".
