J-bomb

J-BOMB: Born Mohammad Abdul Jason Grey Jabar in a small general hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. J.Bomb led an ordinary life until 1984. We all know what happened then (Run D.M.C., parachute pants, break dancing, Macintosh Computers, New Coke, Rock & Wrestling, need I say more).It wasn't until 1991 during a six month tour in the laundry facilities of the U.S.S. Montana in the midst of Operation Desert Storm did young J-Bomb suffer the traumas of war and released himself from active duty while on shore leave in New York City.

Armed with a "40oz" of Crazy Horse Malt Liquor he attended New York University and fell into a merry crowd where explosive behavior was accepted or at least tolerated.

During his sophomore year M.A.J.G.J. donned a funky hat changed his name to J-Bomb and started kicking it with a schizophrenic style of rhyming influenced by Run-D.M.C, Public Enemy, IceCube's early solo work, The Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, The Last Poets, The Pharcyde, and Weird Al Yankovic to name a few.

Currently, J.Bomb resides on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and when not jamming with P.I.C he maintains his sanity by watching the Game Show and studying the cultural phenomenon known as Judge Judy.
